Volkswagen presented the great novelty of this summer this Wednesday. The new California was revealed to the world with three engines and five available versions: Beach, Beach Tour, Beach Camper, Coast and Ocean.
The California can be purchased with a 1.5 TSI petrol block or a 2.0 diesel, but it can also be chosen with a plug-in hybrid engine that combines a 1.5 TSI petrol block with a second electric motor integrated into the gearbox. Together, they deliver a maximum power of 245 hp.
Based on the Volkswagen Multivan, the California has an interior full of comfort. There are six seats and, depending on the version, several storage spaces, a kitchenette, tables and even a bed. The pop-up roof offers an additional rest space.
Pre-sales of the Volkswagen California start next June and the first deliveries will take place in the second half of 2024.
