Félix da Costa wins Formula E race in Germany
Portuguese driver António Félix da Costa (Porsche) won today the Berlin E-Prix of the Formula E World Championship, the 10th round of the season of the World Championship for electric cars.

The driver from Cascais, who started from the 10th position on the grid, crossed the finish line after 47.55,043 minutes, leaving the New Zealander Nick Cassidy (Jaguar) in second position and the British Oliver Rowland (Nissan) in third.
"That's how it's done", exclaimed Félix da Costa, after crossing the finish line.
This was the first official triumph of the season for the Portuguese driver, who had been disqualified from the Italian race, due to the use of a spring not allowed by the regulations, after triumphing on the track.
"Let's wait and see. I'm confident that we have everything correct. We have many guests here, many people from the factory, and it feels great to win", stressed the Portuguese driver.
This was António Félix da Costa's ninth triumph in the Formula E World Championship, which he won in 2020.
"You have to work hard when things don't go well. I dedicate this to my engineer's father-in-law, who passed away this weekend", concluded Félix da Costa.
The Portuguese driver started from the 10th position on the grid, but took the lead after two laps, to win for the third time on this German circuit.
Félix da Costa had not won since the 2023 Cape Town E-Prix (South Africa).
With these results, Nick Cassidy maintained the lead in the championship, with 140 points, 16 more than the German Pascal Wherlein (Porsche), who was fourth today.
António Félix da Costa is now eighth, with 59 points. The next round will be a double round, on May 25 and 26, in Shanghai (China).
