New MINI Cooper electric already has prices for Portugal

The new MINI Cooper SE can now be configured on the brand's website in Portugal. The Cooper E version, with 184 hp, starts at 34,800 euros, and can be purchased with four different equipment levels. The Cooper SE, also with four equipment levels to choose from, starts at 38,400 euros.
The Cooper E has an electric motor with 184 hp and 290 Nm of torque, and is also equipped with a 54.2 kWh battery, which translates into a range of 350 kilometers. The Cooper SE version is superior in every way. More power (218 hp), more torque (330 Nm) and more autonomy (402 kilometers).
MINI had already mentioned that one of the main goals was for the Cooper to maintain the 'go-kart feeling' that differentiates the brand and that this would be a model that honored its past. This is noticeable on the outside, as well as in the interior.
The British brand opted for a minimalist and retro-futuristic design in the interior, which features a round infotainment screen, reminiscent of the speedometer found in past models. There is no digital panel behind the steering wheel, as the relevant information will be displayed on the head-up display on the windshield.
The steering wheel has also been redesigned, with thicker grips at 2 and 10 o'clock, not forgetting the LED patterns integrated into the dashboard.
