Italian fiscal police have seized 134 units of the Fiat Topolino, the new quadricycle of the Italian brand, in recent days. Why? The reason is related to a small detail. Literally, small.

On the doors of the Topolino there is an Italian flag that, according to Bloomberg, violates the 'Made in Italy' law because the vehicle is produced in Morocco.

The law states that "goods classifiable as made in Italy must have been designed, produced and packaged exclusively in Italian territory". Hence the seizure of the 134 units.

According to a Stellantis spokesperson, Fiat will now remove the sticker with the Italian flag that was placed there because, according to the brand, the small quadricycle was developed in Turin.

It should be noted that this is yet another episode involving a Stellantis brand. Recently, Alfa Romeo was also forced to change the name of its first electric model because it was called 'Milano', but production was carried out in Poland. Alfa Romeo then renamed it 'Junior'.
