New world record? German surfs 28.57-meter wave in Nazaré
Sebastian Steudtner will have set a new world record, but is still waiting for official confirmation.

German surfer Sebastian Steudtner may have set a new world record for the biggest wave ever surfed last February at Praia do Norte, in Nazaré.
The German himself posted the moment on social media on Friday, showing the dimensions of the wave he managed to surf on February 24, now awaiting official confirmation from the Guinness Book of Records.
It is worth remembering that in 2022 the same Sebastian Steudtner had set the record for the biggest wave in the world, with 26.21 meters, which was made official at the time by Guinness.
