The conservatorship that Britney Spears was under — which was overseen by her father, Jamie Spears — should not have been terminated for the sake of the artist’s mental health, according to several sources.
Despite the fact that the conditions imposed by the conservatorship on the ‘Princess of Pop’ have proven to be too strict, according to these sources, Britney suffers from serious mental problems that require special care and monitoring.
As Page Six highlights, people close to the singer fear that she is consuming alcohol and drugs.
“I hate to say it, but this is what we feared would happen,” one of the sources in question noted.
It should be noted that this week, a few hours after the end of Britney and Sam Asghari’s divorce proceedings was confirmed, paramedics were called to a mansion in Hollywood to help the artist, after she injured her ankle.
Despite Britney assuring that the injuries were the result of an accident, the press reported on the possibility that she had been injured during an argument with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz.
It should be recalled that Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021 by court order after a long process.
