"They can slow down metabolism because they cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels, followed by a crash, which can lead to fatigue."

"Bread, of all kinds, is caloric and inflammatory. White bread is made with refined carbohydrates and lacks fiber and other beneficial nutrients."
