Cortisol is commonly known as the stress hormone. High levels can lead to problems such as anxiety or depression. So, it is best to understand how you can reduce the values and feel good.

The blog aggregator HuffPost spoke with psychologist Raquel Tomé to understand how you can reduce the values of this hormone.

"If you are a person who is sensitive to stress, you can opt for management techniques, adopt a less stressful lifestyle, incorporate relaxation strategies for the body and mind, and stay healthy", she begins by saying.

She explains that some of the techniques involve relaxation exercises, meditation, yoga or mindfulness techniques.

"If the response to stress is closely related to the interpretation of different life situations, I recommend that you go to a psychologist and do therapy to explore your internal emotional world in greater depth", she continues.
