Lowering cholesterol levels can be easier than you think. In an interview with the 'website' Health Digest, physician Scott Noorda mentions some tips that you can adopt to achieve this goal.

One of the tips he gives is to fast for several hours throughout the day. "Fasting can help lower cholesterol levels. This is because it restricts your calorie intake and forces your body to use stored fat for energy, which can lead to a reduction in fat levels," he explains.

"Cutting out all sugar and sweeteners and switching to a low-carb diet, especially processed carbs, can also make a big difference for some people," he continues.

Finally, he leaves one more piece of advice. "Building new healthy habits, and taking them one at a time, is a safer and more sustainable way to reach these goals."
