In the frozen foods aisle of the supermarket you can find foods that can be beneficial to your health. Even so, there are options that can do the opposite. For example, they can be harming your digestive system and making you feel bloated. The 'website' SheFinds spoke with dietitians Krutika Nanavati, Michelle Saari, and Jesse Feder to find out which frozen foods you should avoid. Get to know them.

1- Frozen pizza

"Frozen pizzas tend to have high levels of sodium, which can cause water retention and swelling. A slice of frozen pizza can contain up to 400 mg of sodium, which exceeds half of the recommended daily intake", reveals Krutika Nanavati.

2- Frozen fried chicken

"It is coated with batter and fried in oil, which significantly increases the fat content."

3- Frozen pasta dishes

"Many frozen pasta dishes are prepared with creamy sauces that are high in fat and calories", says Michelle Saari.

4- Frozen yogurt

"Although it usually has fewer calories and fats than ice cream, it still adds sugar, flavorings, and preservatives."

5- Frozen low-fat dishes

"They include artificial additives, preservatives, and other enhancers", reveals Jesse Feder.

6- Frozen mozzarella sticks

"They are usually fried before being frozen, which results in high levels of unhealthy fats, especially saturated and trans fats."
