The 'website' SheFinds spoke to dietitians Dana Ellis Hunnes, Trista Best and Emily Tills to find out the mistakes you may be making first thing in the morning. They revealed that they are even more worrying for people over 40 years old.

1- Not having breakfast
"By not eating in the morning, the body slows down the metabolism to protect itself and can lead to slow digestion," says Dana Ellis Hunnes.
2- Eating sweets
"They offer no nutritional benefit. They are often devoid of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds."
3- Making a calorie restriction
"When you restrict calories in the morning or at any meal, it will decrease the number of calories needed to conserve energy and prevent hunger. Each person has a unique metabolism," says Trista Best.
4- Not drinking enough water
"Water is needed in all reactions that happen inside the body. If we do not drink enough throughout the day, especially in the morning, we may have problems with the detoxification process of the kidneys and liver," says Emily Tills.
