Trio rescued from fishing vessel that sank in Vila Nova de Gaia
The victims were assisted by INEM elements on site, not having been transported to a hospital unit.

Two men aged 70 and 24 and a 22-year-old woman were rescued by the Leixões Maritime Police in the early hours of Friday morning, after the fishing vessel they were on sank about four nautical miles, approximately 7.4 kilometres, from Madalena beach, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.
The alert was received at 01:02, via the Lisbon Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC Lisbon), and "the crew of the Leixões Lifeboat Station, as well as elements of the Leixões Maritime Police Local Command and also of INEM", were "immediately activated", said the National Maritime Authority (AMN), in a statement.
"Upon arriving at the fishing vessel, the crew of the Lifeboat Station proceeded to rescue and transport the victims, two men aged 70 and 24 and a 22-year-old woman, from the life raft to the Leixões marina", the note added.
The trio were assisted by elements of INEM on the spot, and were not transported to a hospital unit.
The Leixões Maritime Police Local Command took charge of the occurrence.
