Sony may bid for Paramount
However, no proposal has yet been put forward.

Sony has reportedly joined the ‘race’ to buy Paramount, sources familiar with the matter told The New York Times.
Sony is said to be interested in acquiring Paramount together with investment firm Apollo Global Management. Sony has not yet submitted a bid, but could do so soon.
It is worth noting that by acquiring Paramount, Sony would also take control of the Paramount+ streaming service as well as all associated intellectual property.
