Amazon plans to put even more ads on Prime Video

Amazon took advantage of the beginning of the year to integrate advertisements into its streaming service Prime Video, also launching a new (slightly more expensive) version without any ads. However, it seems that Prime Video will soon have more advertisements.
The Ars Technica website says that subscribers to the cheapest Prime Video plan will start to see ads in a ‘carousel’ format while playing content and also when the user decides to pause the playing of series or films. Furthermore, during these pauses, product ads may be displayed, which can be added to Amazon's virtual basket.
It is not yet known when this type of ad will start to be displayed, but Amazon said that the integration will happen over the next year.
