Sebastian Vettel drove Ayrton Senna's McLaren at Imola
30 years have passed since the death of the Brazilian driver at the San Marino GP.

Ayrton Senna died on May 1, 1994 at the Imola circuit, in a fateful San Marino Grand Prix. It has been 30 years since his death and Formula 1 wanted to pay tribute to the memory of one of the drivers who had the most influence in the highest category of motor sports.
Sebastian Vettel sat behind the wheel of the McLaren MP4-8, which was driven by Ayrton Senna, and took a lap around the Italian Imola circuit, with the Brazilian and Austrian flags in hand, as a tribute to Senna and Ratzenberger, drivers who died in that 1994 San Marino GP.
