Daniel Sousa: "Exit? There hasn't been any change in behavior"
Arouca coach Daniel Sousa said today that he hopes his announced departure to Sporting de Braga does not affect the players in the clash between the two teams for the 28th round of the I Liga football.

"The way we trained this week allows me to say that we were extremely focused on what is the task for this game, as we have been. That is, there was no change in pattern from what is the behavior. And that's what interests me," he highlighted, in a press conference previewing the match.
The controversial announcement by the president of the Minho team, António Salvador, last Wednesday, the hiring of Daniel Sousa from next season, on the eve of the match between 'warriors' and 'wolves', generated strong criticism from the Arouquense structure.
"It is not part of the coach to comment on anything that is the club's hierarchy and these are things that end up being resolved internally," stressed the coach.
Despite the expressions of displeasure by president Carlos Pinho and general director Joel Pinho at the conduct of Daniel Sousa and Sporting de Braga, the coach regretted the situation and praised his career.
"The situation that exists between the clubs is not comfortable, which I seek. My career has been guided by work. Nothing can shake my work except myself. We start this week with the same spirit as all the other weeks, with the same ambition, with the same work mentality," he defended.
Regarding the opponent, who will make Rui Duarte his debut as technical director, succeeding Artur Jorge, Daniel Sousa believes that it is a "standardized" team, with "identifiable" behaviors, but "difficult to counter".
"The way they score goals is quite standardized and when these teams have behaviors that are often identifiable, that is, patterns, it means that there is some work there and that is what we identify in them, that they really are strong. Even being identifiable, sometimes it is difficult to counter," he explained.
Without injuries, the Arouca coach will only be able to count on Alfonso Trezza, suspended due to accumulation of yellow cards, and Tiago Esgaio, for being a player loaned by the Braga team.
Arouca, seventh classified in the I Football League, with 37 points, and Sporting de Braga, fourth, with 56, will face each other from 6 pm on Sunday, at the home of the Minho team, under the refereeing of João Gonçalves, from the Porto Football Association.
