Leicester 'slip' away and leave leadership at the mercy of Ipswich

Leicester City lost at home to Millwall, 1-0, this Tuesday, on matchday 42 of the Championship. A defeat that could jeopardize the leadership of the foxes, who until recently held a comfortable lead in first place.
Ricardo Pereira, a Portuguese international, played the 90 minutes. Abdul Fatawu, on loan from Sporting, came on in the 62nd minute to replace winger Yunus Akgun.
The goal that made the difference in the result was scored in the 59th minute by Ryan Longman. A beautiful run by the winger, from right to middle, shooting with force and placement into Hermansen's goal.
The 17th-placed team adds three more points at the expense of the leader, who could lose that status if Ipswich Town beats Watford this Wednesday. Leicester has 88 points in 42 games, while Ipswich has 87, with one game less. Leeds United has the same 87 points, with 42 games played. An electrifying end to the season is approaching in the Championship.
