Ex-Benfica concerned about the game in Marseille: "Atmosphere at the Vélodrome..."
Portuguese left-back recalls time at French club.

In an interview with the French newspaper L'Équipe, the player trained at Benfica reviewed his time at the French club and left a warning to Benfica about the game in Marseille.
"My time at Marseille was the best moment of my career. I had interesting statistics. In France, football is more physical, faster than in Portugal. It's not as competitive as the English championship, but I really liked French football for its intensity", began by saying the left-handed player.
"In Marseille, I was happy. I felt a bit like I was in Lisbon. The streets, the people, certain places: in many ways, the two cities are similar and I loved Marseille", continued Nuno Tavares, who spoke about the atmosphere that awaits Benfica when they go to the Vélodrome next week.
"Benfica's stadium is more beautiful, but the atmosphere is even stronger, more intense at the Vélodrome. I felt the same connection with the crowd. Every day, the fans are with you, putting pressure on you. I think there are few places where you find that", he concluded.
