Luis Enrique aims for the 'treble' to make history at PSG
Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique said today he wants to win the three trophies still in dispute, the championship, the French Cup and the Champions League, to "go down in the history of the club and the country".

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will be able to secure their 12th league title if they win at Lorient and Monaco, who play two hours later, fail to get three points at home to Lille, coached by Portuguese Paulo Fonseca, in postponed matches from round 29 of the French league.
"Without a doubt, it is motivation to do something that has never been done in France, to make history for the club, the city and, if it can be for the country, all the better," said Luis Enrique, 53, in the preview of the trip to Lorient.
The Spanish coach, who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023, recalled that, for now, the club has only won one title, the Super Cup against Toulouse, and that "the path is long and winding and requires maximum concentration".
"It doesn't matter when we win the championship, we have deserved it for a long time. The important thing is how we win it," added the coach, who said he was pleased with the possibility of this goal being achieved on Wednesday.
In addition to leading Ligue 1, with an 11-point advantage over second-placed Monaco, PSG, which includes Portuguese players Danilo Pereira, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and Gonçalo Ramos, are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they will face Borussia Dortmund, and will play the final of the French Cup against Lyon.
