Analysis: "What I want to see in my team, regardless of objectives that are impossible, as is the case of the championship... There are others and one of them is to represent this club in the best way every day. I'm talking about great ambition, great commitment and determination. That is there. We entered the game somewhat lackluster and without pleasure. When it's like that, it's difficult... We talk about strategy, about determination. When we don't associate everything we do with pleasure and passion, it becomes more difficult to understand... I'm being sincere. I told the players that they were lacking in the first 15 minutes. I think we can and should enter the game in a different way, even though the players gave their all in order to believe in winning the game. They were professional. But when we put joy and sparkle in our eyes, things become easier." 

Teams demoralized for no longer being able to achieve their objectives: "I've been there... When I was a kid I played in the street without shoes. I got my first pair of shoes at 13. The players have to understand and, you can see it by their age... With my children and with my friends, even with my knee in great difficulty, I'm competitive and I want to win. I'm talking about in general, not just at FC Porto. It seems that this is one of those professions that you carry a weight on your shoulders. It's like working on construction from morning to night, but it's not. We do what many people would like to do and can't. For not having the opportunity or talent. We no longer have the possibility [of winning the title], but there's always the will to represent a club like FC Porto and the passion for the game." 

Gonçalo Sousa made his debut: "For several reasons, with players suspended and injured, we decided to have Gonçalo on the bench. He's just another kid. I was very happy for his debut. What I hope is that it's the first of many games, because he's a kid with a lot of talent. Now he needs to associate that talent with other fundamental things to reach the top and stay there. I'm happy for another consistent game by Martim. 11 players on the match sheet came from the academy and that makes me happy. The fans always look at the result, if we don't win we're always subject to the results." 

Francisco Conceição equaled his father's goal record: "António Oliveira was the big culprit in that, because he made me play as a fullback. If he had put me up front, I would have scored a few more goals. It's important that the family remains linked to this great club that is FC Porto, that fills us with pride. It's an enormous pleasure. Happy for Francisco, for Martim, for Gonçalo, and for all the kids that appear, that have talent and that are launched and give a positive response and are an added value." 

Taremi at Inter: "As you saw today, he's a fantastic professional. He played as if he had a 10-year contract and that's what's important. It would be stupid not to use a player because we think he's going to another team next season. Today, football is like that. There are other clubs where players reach a certain age and the club weighs the costs of continuing or letting them go. The management's option is this and we have to respect it. Taremi has been a fantastic professional. If I think he's important to start today, he'll start. If I think he has to go to the bench. If I think he has to stay home, he stays home. He's a player treated like the others, just like others who were with me and who were in the same situation."
