CTT shareholders approve dividend of 17 cents
CTT shareholders approved, in a general meeting, a dividend of 17 cents relating to the 2023 results, as well as the cancellation of shares, under the securities repurchase program, according to a statement to the market.

In the note, released by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the company said that shareholders adopted the resolutions put to the vote.
Thus, "the application of the results for the 2023 fiscal year under the terms proposed by the Board of Directors was approved, including the payment of a gross dividend per share of 0.17 euros".
Shareholders also gave the 'green light' to "the reduction of CTT's share capital by up to 3,825,000.00 euros corresponding to the extinction of up to 7,650,000 treasury shares already acquired or that may be acquired until June 25, 2024 within the scope of the treasury share buyback program that the Board of Directors announced on June 21, 2023 and is currently underway".
Shareholders also approved the accountability documents for the past year, as well as "a vote of positive appreciation and confidence in the company's Board of Directors and a vote of positive appreciation and praise for the company's supervisory bodies and each of its members for the performance of their duties during the 2023 fiscal year".
Also approved were "the remuneration policy for members of the company's management and supervisory bodies, including a plan to grant CTT share option awards to executive directors", as well as "the granting of authorization to the Board of Directors for the acquisition and disposal of treasury shares by the company and its subsidiaries".
CTT shareholders also elected the auditor for the 2024/2026 term.
