The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival ends this Saturday, but before the closing there was still room for the traditional amfAR Gala, which raises funds for the fight against AIDS.
The event was attended by several well-known faces, among which Sarah Ferguson stood out.
The ex-wife of Prince Andrew posed on the red carpet of the event smiling a lot, but when she went up on stage her expression changed radically.
The Duchess of York presented a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II, a work by Chris Levine, which was auctioned off and whose starting bid, for charity purposes, was 475 thousand euros.
While Sarah Ferguson was addressing the audience, many people were talking over her, not paying attention to her words, which visibly bothered Prince Andrew's ex-wife.
With a microphone in her hand and a serious expression, the Duchess asked for silence. "Stop, stop, stop!", she repeated several times. Some people filmed the moment, which quickly began circulating on X (formerly Twitter).
