Four boats with 220 immigrants arrived today in the Canary Islands
Four boats with a total of 220 immigrants on board arrived today on the coast of the Canary Islands (Spain), two on the island of El Hierro and another two in Gran Canaria, emergency services reported.

Two boats (cayucos) arrived in El Hierro with 123 people of sub-Saharan origin, including a baby a few months old.
A third boat with 60 people on board was located south of Gran Canaria at midday and taken to the port of Arguineguín.
In the afternoon, a fourth boat was intercepted with 37 immigrants south of Gran Canaria, who were also transferred to Arguineguín.
