Domestic violence suspect arrested, tried to assault officers
Suspect was remanded in custody.

The Republican National Guard (GNR) arrested a 60-year-old man on April 19 for domestic violence in the municipality of Felgueiras.
In a statement this Monday, the security force explained that, as part of a complaint for domestic violence, the Guard's military "immediately went to the scene, where they found that the victim, a 58-year-old woman, the aggressor's partner, had been the target of physical and psychological aggression".
"During the action, the aggressor approached the military in an aggressive manner, trying to assault and insult them," the note informs.
The suspect was arrested and after being present at the Paredes Judicial Court, he was given the measure of preventive detention.
