A road collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a light goods vehicle on the A28 in Esposende resulted in one serious injury on Tuesday afternoon, Notícias Minuto confirmed with a source from the Cávado Sub-Regional Command.
According to the same source, the injured person is a man in his 50s who was transported to Braga Hospital.
The accident occurred on the southbound carriageway of the A28, in the Union of Parishes of Esposende, Marinhas and Gandra, and traffic is currently restricted.
The alert was given at 5:52 pm.
The Esposende Volunteer Firefighters, the Fão Volunteer Firefighters, INEM, the National Republican Guard (GNR) and the motorway concessionaire were on site.
