PSP executes arrest warrant and catches suspect of domestic violence
The man had been sentenced to more than 2 years of suspended imprisonment but it was revoked for failure to comply with the imposed obligations, and an arrest warrant was issued.

A 38-year-old man was arrested for the crime of domestic violence, in Peniche, Leiria district, under which a detention warrant was pending.
The arrest was carried out by the Public Security Police (PSP) which, in a statement to which the Notícias ao Minuto had access, revealed that "the person concerned had been sentenced to more than 2 years in prison, with the said sentence suspended in its execution, provided that certain requirements were met".
However, "the man again threatened to kill the victim, and also violated the measure of approaching her, which was controlled using electronic devices", reads the note.
After the actions of the suspect, it was determined to revoke the suspension of the execution of the sentence for breach of the obligations imposed, and a detention warrant was issued.
The man was arrested and, after being present at the first judicial interrogation, he was ordered to be held in preventive detention.
