Xbox leak suggests a portable console could be on the way
The new feature is being tested by Microsoft.

A new update for Xbox consoles suggests that Microsoft is working on a portable console. The news was spotted by The Verge's Tom Warren and allows the console to remember multiple Wi-Fi networks to make it easier to switch between them.
“Another day, another excellent feature coming to the Xbox dashboard. Microsoft is testing the ability for Xbox consoles to remember multiple Wi-Fi networks. This will make it easier to switch between networks if you take your console on a trip,” Warren wrote in a post on the social media site Threads.
While it’s certainly possible that the feature could simply be useful for those who have a vacation home and like to take their Xbox with them, speculation is that it could be a way to prepare the software for the arrival of a portable console — a type of platform that would benefit most from the option.
