Lenovo and Motorola banned from selling phones in Germany
The situation is due to a patent dispute.

Lenovo and its subsidiary Motorola are being blocked from selling phones in Germany, a court has ruled, over a patent dispute.
The patent in question relates to WWAN modules and is owned by US firm InterDigital. This means that any device that supports GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G connectivity from Lenovo and Motorola is now banned from sale in the European country.
Lenovo has said that it disagrees with the terms set out by InterDigital and has said that it plans to appeal the court’s decision.
