FC Porto beats Sporting in the youth teams' Clássico
Result leaves the eternal rivals "glued" in the standings.

A little over 24 hours before the main teams of FC Porto and Sporting face off at the Estádio do Dragão, it was the turn of the junior teams to face each other at the Academia de Alcochete at the end of the afternoon this Saturday.
The dragons won 2-3 in a match in which they signed a 'demolition' start, so much so that after just 24 minutes, they already had a two-goal advantage over their eternal rival, thanks to accurate shots by Gil Martins, the second of which was the conversion of... a direct corner kick.
The lions still responded, by João Simões, but in the second half, Gil Martins returned to his ways, achieving a hat trick. At 57 minutes, it was Pedro Sanca's turn to score, thus sealing the final result in the Classic.
With this result, FC Porto now has 11 points, so they can 'stick' to Sporting and Famalicão, in the fourth position of the qualifying phase for the national under-19 champion, at a time when they have one less game.
As for the leadership, it remains in the possession of Sporting, from Braga, with 24 points won after ten rounds played, three more than the second-placed team, Benfica, who, on the eve, thrashed them in Seixal, by 1-4.
