Sérgio Vieira targets referee and Farense after defeat: "Very unfair"

Sérgio Vieira, coach of Estrela da Amadora, pointed the finger at referee Fábio Veríssimo and Farense, in the wake of the defeat (0-3) in the closing game of the 31st round of the I League, which complicates the accounts of the permanence of the tricolor formation. In a press conference, after the match in Reboleira, the Portuguese coach even stated that Estrela was "harmed".
"We were warned that Farense would exploit our mistake and that's what they did. They were lucky with the penalty and then there ended up being some imbalances, but these mistakes cannot happen", Sérgio Vieira began by saying, continuing.
"It is very unfair and we were being harmed by Farense's constant interruptions. I know it's not easy to control, but the referee could have given more minutes of compensation, something that cannot happen in Portuguese football. This harmed the intensity that we wanted to put into the game", pointed out the Estrela coach.
With three rounds to go, Sérgio Vieira acknowledged that the mission of permanence has become more complicated, but he showed himself to be confident.
"We have to raise our heads very quickly. We have three rounds to go, in which we have to be very determined, united, focused and ambitious. Everything is within our reach to achieve the goal of the season", he concluded.
