Thomas Tuchel publicly criticized Kim Min-jae on Tuesday night after Bayern Munich's draw with Real Madrid (2-2) in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals. In a press conference, the German coach accused the Korean centre-back of being "greedy".
"He was greedy twice. He made the first move too early on Vinicius' goal and was caught by Toni Kroos' pass. He was too aggressive and let himself be anticipated," Tuchel began by saying, quoted by the German press, continuing.
"In the second goal, unfortunately, he made another mistake [committed a penalty on Vinicius]. He was punished twice, but he has quality and has to move on," said the Bayern Munich coach.
The second leg, at the Santiago Bernabéu, is scheduled for next Wednesday, May 8.
