Mikel Arteta took advantage of this Saturday's press conference to preview the most anticipated match of the 37th round of the Premier League, between Manchester United and 'his' Arsenal, to come to the defence of the opposing coach, Erik ten Hag. "He's an excellent coach. I admire his teams, both Ajax and Manchester United. I know what he's trying to do, I know how he does it, I know how difficult it is to prepare teams against him, so I have great respect for him," began by stating the coach of the London team. "I hope he has the time he needs, because we are colleagues and we know how difficult it is in this championship, and what the margins are. So, yes, let's hope that's the case, because I think he's an excellent coach," he continued. "If you want to win the Premier League and major trophies, you have to go through these stadiums, impose yourself and win. That's the path we're on, and that's what we're going to try to do," he concluded, in statements reproduced by the British television station Sky Sports.
