Declan Rice's 'secret' pre-match meal: 'I swear by it, it's changed everything'
English international arrived at Arsenal and bet it all... on pancakes.

Declan Rice has given an extensive interview to this Thursday's edition of British magazine Men's Health in which he revealed what he believes has been the secret to his fine form for Arsenal this season.
"I have four pancakes before every game. Covered in syrup or honey. I swear by it, it's the best thing... When I first came to the club, I saw the other players having it and I thought, 'What's going on here?' But honestly, it's changed everything," he began by saying.
"I don't know the science behind it, what it does or whatever, but it gives me a great boost. I think that's why I'm able to get around the pitch so much," continued the 25-year-old England international.
"If we have a 5:30pm kick-off, sometimes I'll have eight pancakes in one day. I'll have a few for breakfast and then a few more at 3:30pm, before the game," he added.
