Intel narrows loss by 86% in Q1
Intel, a North American technology company, reduced losses by 85% in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 2023, to 381 million dollars (355 million euros).

The processor and 'software' manufacturer increased its business volume in the quarter to $12.72 billion (about 11.86 billion euros), 9% more than in the same period last year, the company revealed today in a statement.
Even so, this indicator was below the analysts' average estimate, which was $13.6 billion in business volume, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Intel's computing, 'data center' and Artificial Intelligence (AI) units were the only ones with business growth.
With these results, the shares of Intel, the largest manufacturer of processors for personal computers, fell almost 8% after the close of the session on Wall Street.
