Experts reveal nine habits that help you live a longer life

There are five regions in the world that stand out for the long and healthy life of their inhabitants, many of them centenarians. This is how the concept of Blue Zones emerged (Okinawa, Japan; Ikaria, Greece; Province of Ogliastra, Sardinia (Italy); Loma Linda, United States; and Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica).

Over the years, several experts have been able to detect nine common aspects among these areas that seem to contribute to the longevity of these populations. The Mirror compiled them:
1- Move;
2- Drink wine in moderation with friends;
3- Adopt routines that reduce stress levels and set aside some time to rest;

4- Eat more vegetables and legumes;
5- Have friends;
6- Stop eating in the late afternoon/early evening;
7- Put loved ones first;
8- Have faith or a place where you feel accepted;
