For those with seasonal allergies, warmer months are not always their favorite time of year. Why? They spend most of their days either sneezing or coughing. To help them get through it all, experts shared their best tips with Metro to help minimize those bothersome symptoms.

Habits that everyone with seasonal allergies should have:
- Keep your doors and windows shut. Adam Pawson of Safestyle UK calls this simple step "one of the easiest and most effective ways to minimise the amount of pollen entering your home";
- Wash or change your bedding once a week. This helps to reduce the amount of pollen that gets trapped in your sheets;
- Brush your pets daily. Since dogs go outside, they tend "to pick up pollen on their fur". So brushing them daily, or even twice a day, can help with allergy symptoms.
