Pregnancy brings several changes to a woman's body. Dry skin is just one of them. It is often attributed to hormonal changes, fluid retention or increased blood volume. Therefore, some care is needed at this stage.
Gynecologist Vaishali Sharma signs an article on the 'HealthShots' website in which she presents some of the solutions to end dry skin. Find out what you need to do.

1- Choose your moisturizers well
"You should opt for gentle, fragrance-free creams. Opt for solutions that combine glycerin and shea butter. These are ingredients that help restore hydration levels."
2- Pay attention to the products you use
"Avoid products that are more aggressive, such as alcohol, fragrances and synthetic dyes."
3- Drink water
"It is essential to maintain hydration levels. You should drink at least eight glasses of water a day."
4- Take warm baths
"Take warm baths instead of very hot ones and limit the time of your showers. Water can remove some oiliness."
5- Create healthy habits
Eating a balanced diet, eating more foods with antioxidants, avoiding dry environments and rougher fabrics that can irritate the skin are some of the suggestions she leaves.
