Nuno Lobo assured, this Sunday, that, if he wins the elections for the presidency of FC Porto, which are scheduled for next April 27, he will maintain the plans of the board led by Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa for the construction of the academy. "When I talk about an academy, we want an academy because we want all levels of training in one space. It is not Olival, Dragão, Pedroso. There must be symbiosis between teams. Our academy model is not a High Performance Center, which was already an old promise from Pinto da Costa", he said. "I have always gotten used to the idea of building an academy, in which even nowadays, we are 20 years behind our rivals from Lisbon. I have not seen anything so far, of course I do not defend a High Performance Center. I defend an academy", he continued. "Pinto da Costa promises that it would be done, not depending on the result of the elections. The other candidacy, like ours a little, says that it depends on the investors to move forward with what they want.
