Salzburg seals European spot at Club World Cup
Austrian team is the last European side to book place at the Club World Cup.

RB Salzburg closed, this Wednesday, the group of European clubs that will be present at the next Club World Cup, where Benfica and FC Porto will also be present.
The Austrian team thus joins Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern, Paris SG, Inter, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and Atlético de Madrid, in addition to the Eagles and Dragons.
Regarding other continents, Asia (AFC) will place four teams, as will Africa (CAF) and teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). In turn, South America (CONMEBOL) will place six teams, leaving one place for teams from Oceania. The last of the 32 places will be awarded to a club from the host country, the United States.
Among other qualified emblems are already Al Hilal (by Jorge Jesus), Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca, Urawa Red Diamonds, Monterrey, Seattle Sounders, Club Léon, Auckland, Palmeiras, Flamengo and Fluminense, in a competition in which the 32 qualified clubs already know that they will be divided into eight groups of four teams, between June 15 and July 13, 2025.
