Benfica thrashes Sp. Braga and reopens the fight for the national junior title
Categorical triumph leaves the incarnates three points from the leader.

Benfica re-entered the race for the national junior title at the end of Friday morning, thanks to the categorical victory achieved at the reception to Sporting de Braga, by 4-1.
The reds signed a first part 'of gala', in the Seixal complex, with four goals scored in the period of only... 35 minutes. The arsenalistas still reduced, on the verge of the whistle for the interval, but it was not enough to look for an eventual recovery, in the second half.
With this result, Benfica now has 21 points after ten rounds, which leaves it in second place in the national under-19 champion qualification phase, now three points behind the leader, Sporting de Braga.
In the next round, the arsenalistas have a scheduled visit to Vitória SC's ground, at 5 pm (Continental Portugal time) on May 4th. The reds, on the other hand, will travel to Feirense's stronghold, at 4 pm the following day.
