Portuguese score and set up in Olympiacos' comfortable triumph

Olympiacos beat Lamia, on matchday 34 of the Greek League, in the midst of the championship qualification phase. The Greek club, which was once led by Carlos Carvalhal this season, unquestionably beat the sixth-place team in the standings.
It was a game dominated by the Portuguese. Chiquinho, a midfielder sold by Benfica to Olympiacos in January, scored after some good work by Daniel Podence on the left. The former Benfica midfielder finished well with his first shot into the goal.
The second goal was by Fran Navarro, on loan from FC Porto, who received the ball at the edge of the area following a counterattack and finished well into the goal.
Daniel Podence, formerly of Sporting, scored with a lob and Sotiris, on loan from the Lions, closed out the scoring for Olympiacos. Tosic, from Lamia, reduced the deficit. Rúben Vezo, André Horta and Gelson Martins also played. Olympiacos is in third place in the standings, five points behind the leader.
