MAI appoints Luís Carrilho as national director of PSP
The Minister of Internal Administration, Margarida Blasco, today appointed superintendent Luís Miguel Ribeiro Carrilho as the new national director of the Public Security Police, who replaces José Barros Correia in the position.

In a statement, the Ministry of Internal Administration states that "this decision to appoint arises within the scope of the PSP's operational restructuring, both in the national plan and in the plan for the institutional and international representation of this public security force".
Today, Margarida Blasco dismissed Superintendent Chief José Barros Correia, who had been in office since September of last year.
Until now, Superintendent Luís Carrilho held the position of Commander of the Special Police Unit (UEP).
