Rita Ferro Rodrigues' private life has never aroused as much interest as it does now. The presenter is in the spotlight of the pink press, due to her separation from Rúben Vieira, and her presence on the podcast 'N'A Caravana', by Rita Ferro Alvim, featured a confession from herself associated with romantic relationships she had in the past.
When she talked about adolescence and the intensity with which she lived at this time, Rita ended up confessing: "I had some toxic relationships as a kid, which later caused some conflicts. I had a great need for affirmation and independence".
The communicator confesses that as an adult she has not had another toxic experience in terms of love and admitted: "It's good that it happened so early, because it was the right time for me to set limits in my relationships. Even so, from time to time, things go too far, because that's how life is".
Finally, Rita Ferro Rodrigues highlighted the importance that therapy had during this period and confessed to having returned to it more recently. "I always go back when I need to. [First] because I think everyone should do therapy, [then] because I needed to understand some things in my life, if I was making the right decisions, understanding defense mechanisms, pain... I had hit rock bottom and asked for help", she added.
It is worth remembering that Rita, in this same interview, talked about her stepson, Rúben Vieira's son, and the reasons that made her leave SIC.
