Rita Ferro Rodrigues has been traveling with her children in Thailand and seems to have been enchanted by the country and the gastronomy she found.
In Portugal for a few days, the presenter used Instagram to share the recipe for pad thai, a well-known Thai dish.
Rita left the full recipe in the caption of a photo of her cooking.
Below you will find all the steps to make your pad thai:
INGREDIENTS
Rice noodles, one tablespoon of oil, 250g of raw shrimp, three cloves of garlic, one shallot, bean sprouts, one tablespoon of roasted peanuts and one egg.
For the sauce: two tablespoons of tamarind paste, two tablespoons of sugar, juice of half a lime, four tablespoons of fish sauce and one teaspoon of sesame oil.
PREPARATION
Cook the noodles in boiling water (four minutes), drain, run under cold water and add a little oil. Heat a frying pan or a wok and add the oil. When hot, add the chopped shallot and garlic. Sauté until golden brown, add the shrimp and continue to sauté.
Add the noodles, the sauce and mix everything. Add the roasted peanuts and continue to sauté. Make a space in the middle of the wok, pour in an egg and mix vigorously. Remove from the heat and serve with bean sprouts, chopped coriander, sesame oil and lime.
