Muscle loss is a consequence of the bodily changes that occur during menopause, a natural process in women's lives. However, there are affordable alternatives that help to mitigate the signs of the passage of time.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, nutritionist Rob Hobson, states that "creatine supplementation, combined with resistance training, can be particularly beneficial for postmenopausal women", which begins when the woman no longer has the characteristic symptoms of menopause, such as mood swings and hot flashes.

According to the specialist, author of several books on nutrition and well-being, many studies show that creatine supplementation improves strength, power and performance in high-intensity exercise. "Resistance training is a fundamental treatment for muscle loss (sarcopenia) and evidence suggests that adding creatine supplements can further enhance the effects of muscle building," he says.
Let's get to the facts. A study from 2019 showed that a 12-week creatine supplementation program, along with resistance training, led to significant increases in muscle mass.
Another study, published in 2021, revealed that creatine use improves energy levels in muscles and brain, reducing inflammation and stress in the body. "By combating oxidative damage, creatine can indirectly contribute to the reduction of inflammation levels", explained Rob Hobson.
